Stream Screen Guard (🖥🛡)

Create a protective window which completely covers your screen. Only windows that you want to be visible on the screen will be allowed, and any other windows will be automatically moved to another screen if they are placed beneath the guard. When you stream your desktop, you will not need to worry about unwanted windows appearing in your stream.

Notes

  • Windows that are visible in the protected area when the feature starts are automatically allowed on screen. Clear unwanted windows from the protected area before starting. When a window is blocked, it will display a button which can unblock the window.
  • The Stream Screen Guard works by ordering itself on top of all windows except for the ones you want to display. Other programs with always on top functionality may still appear in your protected area.
  • Capturing a whole screen can be more efficient than capturing a specific program while also giving you more flexibility in being able to safely show multiple windows.

Configurables

  • Allow Stream Screen Guard on Primary Monitor (Default: False)
By default, Stream Screen Guard is not allowed on the primary monitor because it could make using the computer difficult and the task switcher may show unwanted window thumbnails by surprise when pressing Alt Tab.
  • Stream Screen Guard Background Color (Default: #FF00FFFF)
  • Stream Screen Guard Background Image (Default: [Null/Not Set])
Image specified will be stretched to cover the Stream Screen Guard.
  • Stream Screen Guard Click for Menu (Default: True)
New users may forget how to access the Stream Screen Guard after starting it, so by default any click to the background of the Stream Screen Guard will open the feature window.
