Display Off (🖵🔌)

Turns off your monitors.

Configurables

  • Screen Off Delay Milliseconds (Default: 750)
Keyboard presses and mouse movements can cause the screen to turn back on. This delay allows you to trigger the Screen Off function and then clear your hands before the monitors will go off.
  • Screen Off Mode (Default: Simple)
    - Simple: The screen off feature will simply turn the displays off once.
    - Blackout Mode: The screen off feature will keep turning the screen off until you hit a key or click with the mouse. Additionally, it will black out the entire screen. This helps in case your mouse erroneously wakes up the screens.
    - Lock Screen: This is the same as Blackout Mode, except when the screen is restored the lock screen will be activated. This is less secure than immediately activating the lock screen, but the lock screen is more of a casual deterrence measure anyways if an adversary has physical access to your machine.
